My girls love a good kids roller coaster. In fact, that’s our first stop when we head to Dollywood. I have two little thrill seekers, daredevils, coaster queens… whatever you want to call them!

They love adventure so I knew as soon as I saw this new kids roller coaster from Step2 in the Spring line-up, it was one that they would love.

We actually have the milder version of a kids coaster toy from Step2 that we keep inside the house.

The Up & Down Roller Coaster is recommended from ages 2-5 and has seen plenty of action over the past couple of years but as Sophia is starting to get a little too big for it, I was hoping she would get some more riding time with the Hot Wheels Roller Coaster.

This kids roller coaster is so big that it actually comes in two large boxes when shipped. It also comes with the need for quite a bit of assembly.

Luckily I had my Dad to help me and even with the two of us it took about 45 minutes to assemble!

It doesn’t just snap together like the Up & Down Roller Coaster, which is like the easiest toy to assemble ever, but you’ll appreciate the fact that it bolts together when you see how tall it is and how fast the car zooms down the track!

Once we had the coaster fully assembled, Moreaya was a bit hesitant to ride.

It’s tall and unlike any other toy we have so it is definitely an intimidating coaster for young children, although they’ll quickly get accustomed to it and squeal with delight on every ride down.

Although, if they’re like Moreaya, they won’t go on cue if you’re trying to get a fun video of how fast this kids roller coaster goes!

Because of the height of this kids roller coaster toy, it is recommended that your child wear a helmet while riding, as well as to put it on mulch.

After just a few turns, Sophia proclaimed it “The Best Step2 Toy EVER!”

Your child will zoom down the 14 feet of track in the Hot Wheels coaster car and then some! We set our coaster up on level ground and they go another 20 feet once they’re off the track!

And if you’re worried about your kids sharing, it’s not an issue at all.

My girls love taking turns, which is somewhat surprising, and they love measuring to see how far they get and who went farther.

I have a feeling it’s going to be one of the hottest toys this Summer and it’s already the favorite of my girls and their friends that come over to play!
