The Best Friend I Didn’t Know I Needed

This post is sponsored by BabbleBoxx on behalf of Amazon Prime Video.

I don’t know what set the puppy fever off in me… maybe it was working from home, quarantine, or spring like weather in early March. Maybe it was endless scrolling of the cutest puppies online. Or maybe it was just because it’s what I needed.

My whole family thought I was crazy when I decided that a puppy was indeed what our family needed and to be honest, looking back, I probably was a little crazy. But now, 8 months later, I couldn’t imagine our family without Collie in it!

While he belongs to us all, Collie and I have definitely formed the strongest bond. He is a Mama’s boy for sure. And even though he’s still technically a puppy, he’s a big boy at almost 60 pounds, which means he’s almost as big as my girls! That’s why I’m most often the one taking him out for walks and potty breaks until the girls get a bit stronger!

Collie is an Aussiedoodle so he has a lot of energy. And I mean a lot. We’re still counting the days until he’s about 2 years old when he’ll maybe be a little calmer, but until then, it’s play all day, every day with this boy!

Some of our favorite activities include tug-of-war, fetching the largest sticks he can find, jumping in leaves [newfound favorite activity!], eating treats, and chasing squirrels. The occasional “zoomies” session is always a great way for Collie to end his day too!

Collie is just 9 months old, so our bond is still developing, but I already rely on the friendship of my buddy so much. I feel safer when he’s around, especially outside at night. And I feel like he’s really in tune with my emotions as well. He truly is the best friend I didn’t know I needed… especially during 2020!

And this weekend, this buddy of mine and me are going to be sitting together tuned into The Pack on Amazon Prime.

To get us excited about The Pack prime movie, we were sent some super fun toys to keep us both entertained. I can say that Collie definitely enjoyed his first bubble blowing session [you can watch the video here].

The Pack, is a new series that celebrates the bond between dogs and their human companions. It’s going to be hosted by Olympic gold
medalist Lindsey Vonn and her canine co-host Lucy. There will be twelve teams of dogs and their humans that race on epic adventures across multiple continents.

The Amazon Original series premieres on November 20th, on Amazon Prime Video! And there are definitely prizes to be won – but I love how The Pack gave back, even while filming! At stake is a life-changing $750,000 for the winning duo and their charity, $500,000 to the winners plus an additional $250,000 prize amount for the animal charity of their choice. Additionally, The Pack donated $250,000 during filming to multiple charities and animal rescue organizations in each country, helping to pay it forward to dogs and those who love them around the world.

To win, the teams will have to depend on their understanding of one another’s strengths and weaknesses and prove to have the strongest bond in the pack. Ah! I cannot wait to watch The Pack Amazon Prime Video this weekend!

If you have a special furry best friend in your life, be sure to snuggle up this weekend and catch The Pack on Amazon Prime too!
