It’s here ladies {and gents}. The finale of Out Like a Lamb is finally here. It’s totally bittersweet because I have absolutely loved sharing with you the amazing wool and fitted products that I’ve found and the even more amazing WAHMs and stores that carry/make them.
Don’t forget the reason that blogs {such as mine} are able to bring you fabulous giveaways is because the kindness of the people behind everyone of the products that I’ve brought to you in these past two weeks.
I’m sure you’ve noticed that I haven’t addressed one of my initial concerns with wool, which is quite possibly one of the things that may be holding some of you back from jumping on the bandwagon. Price.
When you see the price tag of my review item today, you may say, “There is absolutely no way that I would pay that much for a pair of pants, wool or not.” In all honesty, that’s what I said when I first saw the Sustainablebabyish Wool Longies for myself. I’m quite sure that alot of people actually think the same way as me, especially if you’re like me… a SAHM who started using cloth to save money.

Why are Sustainablebabyish Wool and other brands so expensive?
Now, let’s discuss the hesitation of price issues with wool. I understand the sticker shock, but there are a few things you have to remember/consider when you’re purchasing wool.
First, the better/softer/more natural the wool, the more expensive it will be.
Second, you always have to keep in mind that your wool can be used over and over without washing every single time. I believe this will definitely prolong the life of your wool covers much more than PUL covers. Learn all about how to lanolize wool soakers in this post:
Finally, you don’t have to own quite as many woolies {unless you become a Wool addict… which I’m on my way too!}. Try out a few different kinds, sell the ones that aren’t your favorites {there is a definite Wool Re-Buying Market}. Remember, your child can wear them for 3-4 weeks without being washed, so you don’t have to have a ton.
Now let’s get back to these adorably lavish Sustainablebabyish wool pants. Ahhh… Sustainablebabyish. The cloth diaper brand that I’ve always drooled over and never owned… until now.
“sustainablebabyish longies are made from öko-tex certified wool yarns and are double-layer knit, making them breathable, soft, and comfortable–perfect for cloth diapered children from newborns to toddlers.”
These longies are luxurious. They are oh-so-soft, thick {but not too thick}, and do their job… keep the wetness on the inside!
As you can see, Sophia has the longies in Mocha, size Medium. They fit her great around the waist and she still has some length to grow in.

Why I Love Our Sustainablebabyish Wool Longies: They are the softest pants ever. I love the fact that I have a pair of pants that serves two purposes: {1} They keep Sophie’s little legs warm at night on these cold evenings we’ve been having and {2} They keep Sophie’s bed dry all night! Want to know what I dislike about them? The fact that they don’t make adult sizes. Seriously, I would be all over these!

I'm totally with you on the adult sizes. I'd live in them! I won a pair from Year with Mom and Dad's wool event. And they are perfect! And they double as a swiffer.
