Since it’s so close to Spring, I couldn’t help but think of a fun way to treat the girls with the candy!

I remember the first time I had a surprise cupcake. It’s been a few years ago and a family member had brought chocolate peanut butter cupcakes to a party. When I bit into it, there was a peanut butter cup inside! I remember pondering how in the world she baked those with the candy inside. Of course, now I know she didn’t, but I was completely surprised when I first bit into that cupcake!

These fun Spring Surprise Cupcakes were super easy, once I found the perfect tool to cut a bit of the cupcake out. My Dad suggested I try a round drill bit, usually used for making uniform holes in wood, but this time it worked perfectly in my baking adventure!

You can fill your Surprise Cupcakes with any fun candy or sprinkles, but my girls are going to be ecstatic when they find YumEarth Organic Gummy Bears and YumEarth Organic Sour Beans inside their cupcakes!
