Strawberry Mocha Smoothie [featuring Carnation Breakfast Essentials]

May 15, 2014 by Lindsey G.

Strawberry Mocha Smoothie

I’m quite the smoothie maker these days. Since adding the Ninja Ultima Blender to my countertop, it’s one of my favorite ways to sneak in a fresh, cold treat during the day.

I know that lots of people enjoy a delicious smoothie for breakfast, but I often skip that route because I just can’t give up my morning cup of coffee. That is, until I created a delicious morning smoothie that’s perfect for me – my Strawberry Mocha Smoothie featuring Breakfast Essentials!

You see – if I am going to prefer another drink to my morning cup of joe – it better have some coffee right in it! There are a ton of variations you can do with this smoothie, but I prefer to keep it simple – it’s early in the morning, you know!

Breakfast Essentials Strawberry Mocha Smoothie

Breakfast Essentials is a complete nutritional drink by itself – it easily dissolves in milk [the girls are loving it!], but I thought I could use the added benefits of so many vitamins and minerals to my already yummy smoothie. Plus, it’s chocolate, y’all! Enough said, right?

Jumpstart Mornings Breakfast Essentials

Although I admit, I rarely get to enjoy a deliciously creamy Strawberry Mocha Smoothie out of a mason jar on my back deck, it does happen… rarely.

I’m usually sipping right out of my Ninja Single Serve Glass as I drive Sophia to preschool or chase Moreaya down the hall to get her clothes on for the day. That’s the beauty of motherhood!

This sounds delicious! I’ll have to try this with my instant breakfast drink powder. I don’t know why that didn’t occur to me before. I love the idea of strawberries and chocolate together!
