In today’s time we are all busy. Whether you work inside your home, outside your home, have kids or not, women are busy. So how do you make time for yourself throughout the day? Or better yet, how do you make sure you have enough time in the day to get everything done? Today I’m sharing five super simple ways to make more time in your day.
Have a schedule
A weekly menu helps me plan dinners better so it only makes sense that a daily schedule helps me plan my day better. I try to sit down each week and prioritize my daily activities and actually write them down. Being able to cross something off my daily list is a huge motivator as well.
Small tasks that you can accomplish, laid out in a clear and purposeful way, will make your day go by much smoother. I definitely recommend a life planner to help you stay on task.
Wake up early
There’s no better way to make more time in your day than having more time in your day. I’m an early bird so it definitely benefits me to wake up earlier than my alarm clock. I’m able to get tasks done before the rest of the house even wakes up!
Not an early bird? Save some of your daily tasks for later in the evening after your children go to bed.
Have the right tools
There’s no easier way to waste time than not being prepared. If you’re planning on cleaning the bathrooms on a certain day, be sure you have bathroom cleaning supplies. It’s simple, but a big way to save time in your day. If you don’t have what you need to accomplish your daily tasks, heading to the store to get the supplies will take up a lot of your precious time.
Easy breakfast, lunch options
I have to admit, when I’m in the middle of work and doing well, it’s sometimes hard for me to take a break to eat lunch. I’m also guilty of skipping breakfast to get straight to work, but I always regret it. My body isn’t fueled to complete my day and then I end up grabbing unhealthy food options when I get too hungry.
Thankfully I’ve found the answer for myself and you too, if you do the same! The new Jimmy Dean Bowls feature better flavors and enhanced premium ingredients and are the perfect meal time solution for busy Moms. While you may think of them as a breakfast bowl, they actually make a great quick, lunch option too! With 23 grams in the 9 oz Loaded Potato Breakfast Bowl, you’ll have plenty of fuel to make it through the rest of your day and you won’t be taking up tons of time preparing a meal for yourself.
You can find both varieties of the Jimmy Dean Bowls in the frozen aisle at your local Target. Be sure to check out the Cartwheel App for a coupon on these Jimmy Dean Bowls before you shop!
Ask for help
While us super Moms can do everything, it doesn’t mean we have to. This is definitely where I struggle the most because yes, I can fold the laundry better and faster than my girls, but by asking them to help me, I can do something else AND they’re learning valuable life skills.
No matter how much is on your daily To Do list, it is possible to get through it all and still have time for yourself at the end of the day. Adopt these 5 simple ways to make more time in your day and you’ll be able to accomplish more and feel good about how you’re spending your time.
