It’s no secret that both of my girls have battled with eczema throughout their young lives because I’ve shared our struggles with you several times. We’ve been able to figure out a few triggers, but still sometimes the girls will have a flare up and I simply just don’t know why or how to really make it go away. So, I have found that the best way to control their eczema flare ups is to avoid them altogether, makes sense, right!?
Sadly, they’re not alone – did you know that eczema is a disease that affects 30 million Americans and 20% of children?! I’m completely intrigued on why the numbers of eczema are so high and prevalent in today’s society, but that’s another post for another day.
Although Sophia is the one that deals with flare ups the most, Moreaya has started showing signs, especially when I use scented body washes on her. She got a fun, character body wash for Christmas from someone so we used it a few times and her back looked pitiful after just a week! It was dry and she had bumps everywhere. We don’t use those kind of body washes anymore!
Lately, I’ve been using CLn BodyWash on both of the girls. Although they don’t have any current flare ups, thankfully, I have still been able to tell a difference in their skin since we’ve been using it over the past couple of weeks. Their skin seems to be more moisturized and I feel good about using a gentle cleanser on their face and body.
CLn BodyWash has been awarded the Seal of Acceptance by the National Eczema Association. It’s an innovated, gentle cleanser that not only calms dryness and redness of the skin, but effectively cleanses the skin while still being gentle enough for even babies as young as six months old!
I absolutely love the CLn Facial Cleanser – for the girls and myself! The oil-free, hypoallergenic formula has no dyes, parabens or fragrance and helps maintain the skin’s moisture balance. My girls usually put up a fight in the bath when it’s time to wash their face, but they love seeing the little lather on each other so it’s been a lifesaver in that area too!
I often find that the girls’ eczema seems to flare up more in the winter and I’m so thankful that I feel like I’m armed with a great skin care product that can help me prevent those flare ups with CLn Skin Care.
