A few weeks ago I shared the news that I was getting a new smile thanks to Motto Clear Aligners. Today I’m excited to share with you that I’ve already embarked on that journey and I can’t wait to share just how it’s going!
When you walk out of your initial consultation with your Motto Smile Advisor at Aspen Dental, you’ll be wearing your Starter Tray, which helps you adjust to wearing aligners and to stop your teeth from shifting more. You will also get whitening gel to start your teeth whitening process too!
But before we get to that, let me tell you just how my consultation went and what you can expect if you turn to Motto to get your best smile!
From the moment I walked into the Motto room, I felt welcome. Of course, I did. My name was right there on the screen. I met my Smile Advisor, Shannon, and instantly felt at ease. She was so personable and just as excited for me to be there as I was.
One of the first things Shannon asked of me was to tell her about my smile – not what do I not like, but what do I like. I loved the positivity of that moment. I proceeded to explain to her what I liked about my smile and also ways that I would like to see it improved. She promised we’d get there!
The rest of the consultation was a breeze. Shannon did a precision scan – no need for those yucky impression trays with Motto! The scanner was wireless and digital and is used to determine how to get your most beautiful smile with these innovative aligners.
She also took several photos of my current smile. This is part of the higher level of care that you get with Motto. Not only do I have a fantastic Smile Advisor, who I can contact anytime, but my aligners are actually doctor-prescribed. With Motto, you get dentist-led treatment at a fraction of what other in-office aligners cost. The photos are also used in conjunction with the Motto app.
I’m excited to use the app to cut down on in-person appointments in the future, but since I haven’t used it yet, I’ll wait to share more about that in my next post!
One of the coolest moments during the consultation was seeing my before and after scans on the screen. The technology of Motto aligners and the digital precision scan was amazing.
I wore braces for 4 years – yes, FOUR years! I didn’t continue wearing my retainers and my teeth and bite have definitely shifted, despite having a permanent retainer put on 14 years ago. That’s obvious after seeing the “after” scan and got me even more excited for the process!
One of the most exciting things about Motto for me is… I left the consultation with my Starter Tray and whitening kit! Yes, it’s true when they say Tray One on Day One!
The starter tray is actually made right in the office so you walk out with your Starter Tray. Plus, a tube of teeth whitener to start whitening your teeth, as well. This really jumpstarts the process and makes Motto a great, convenient option for anyone!
