I Got a New Smile with Motto Clear Aligners in Only 6 Months

I can’t believe that my journey with Motto Clear Aligners started just 5 months ago and I’m in the last stages of my treatment! I went through my original trays, a few refinement trays, and I’m just a couple weeks away from being at my final step of – my Motto retainer!

Nearing the end of my treatment has definitely had me reflecting on how it went… and it went fast!

In case you missed it, I wrote all about why I wanted to enhance my smile with Motto clear aligners in my first post in this series. I had worn traditional metal braces for 4 years during my adolescence, and like so many others who wore braces back then, didn’t wear my retainers. My teeth had shifted and while I was still happily flashed my smile, I knew my bite had shifted.

During my first Motto consultation with my Smile Advisor Shannon, at Aspen Dental, I found out just how much my bite had shifted. In fact, this was the main reason I was so happy to proceed with clear aligners to enhance my smile. I know that a bad bite can lead to many dental health problems as you age, so I definitely wanted to get mine back in line!

I think that’s the biggest change I’ve noticed. The feel of my bite after wearing just 22 different trays! Sometimes it’s been hard to see those changes weekly, but there’s definitely been a big shift, as you can see from this short Before/After video from my Dental Monitoring app.

That leads me to the other huge plus that I’ve found with my Motto Aligners treatment. I wasn’t expected to go into the office every few weeks. My Aspen Dental treatment team kept up with my progress through weekly scans in my Dental Monitoring app. They literally take less than 2 minutes for me to do – much better than driving to an office visit every week during my busy days.

Just like with my bite, my confidence has shifted in a great way also! I feel like I know my teeth look and feel better and that makes my smile radiate more with confidence. I’ve never been one to smile so big that you see my bottom teeth, but now I do!

As I wait for my Motto retainer, I can’t help but look forward to getting the attachments off my teeth and truly seeing my “After” smile!
