The Obsession is REAL: LuLaRoe Leggings

LuLaRoe – you see the name everywhere, but what’s the real hype all about? There’s a reason why LuLaRoe Leggings are often described “smooth as butter” and why they begin most women’s obsession with wearing leggings.

As soon as I purchased my first two pairs of LuLaRoe leggings, the obsession started. The colors, the patterns, the thrill of buying in a fast paced Facebook group setting – it was all exciting! Then, when my LuLaRoe package from Amy arrived with an Irma Top and One Size Leggings to review, it was over. The obsession had hit full force!

Why are women obsessed with LuLaRoe Leggings?

These clothes are really unlike any other fashion brand I’ve ever tried. They’re totally fun, funky, colorful, and comfortable! I love that I can totally dress up a pair of leggings or use them as cute pajamas… the total definition of day to night clothing, right!?  

The two pieces that Amy sent me are two of the most popular pieces in the LLR line. The Irma top is an over-sized top [I LOVE that I can wear an XXS in clothes – talk about a self esteem boost!] that works perfectly with leggings as it’s a Hi-Lo top… just long enough in the back to cover the booty!

You can’t see in these pictures because of my jacket, but the sleeves are longer than a normal short sleeve top, which I love too! There are tons of other tunics to wear with leggings in addition to the Irma from LuLaRoe.

What sizes do LuLaRoe Leggings come in?

LuLaRoe leggings seriously must be made of unicorn hair and magical thread because, wait for it… they are One Size leggings! That’s right, the One Size [size] fits an average of sizes 2-12. The next size is Tall & Curvy and is recommended for sizes 10-22.

The truth about these leggings? They’re unlike any other leggings you’ve ever tried. Before LLR, I usually wore Target leggings or cheap leggings from Amazon, and had even purchased some “one size” leggings at a local boutique that would have me cursing after just wearing them for 10 minutes.

They never stayed up, I was constantly tugging… miserable. So to say I was hesitant at trying another one size legging shouldn’t be a surprise. My friend, Heather, assured me they would stay in place.

Let me just tell you – the hype over these leggings is real! They are indeed one size leggings, but there’s no need to worry about pulling and tugging. When you put them on, they feel like they were made just for your size… I’m thinking that’s where the unicorn hair and magical thread comes in! Ha!

All kidding aside, they are quite amazing – so amazing in fact that I now have expanded my collection and own 8 pairs! I have to say – it’s so nice to be comfortable in pants leggings as a work from home Mom, and not have to change clothes to do school drop-off and pick-up!

One of the themes of LuLaRoe that I keep seeing brought up, and something I’ve experienced firsthand as well, is the self esteem factor. I’ll admit, when I first saw the “loud” designs of the clothes I thought they weren’t for me. I still pick a little more subdued designs, although the ones I’m rocking in this post are some of my most colorful ones, but these clothes make you feel good! T

Most consultants run Facebook Groups where you can purchase LLR. Some have inventory available all the time, but most host parties every few weeks. During the parties, you sometimes have to be fast because LLR pieces are highly sought after… there are only 1,000 pieces made of each design print so if there’s one you love, you should grab it!
