It’s a Beach Birthday Party

Beach Birthday Party

After struggling to come up with a fun First Birthday Party concept for my second daughter, Moreaya, I thought of something really fun…

a Beach Birthday Party in the middle of January!

Once we secured our venue, I started dreaming up ideas scouring Pinterest for ideas. I got a lot of inspiration and threw together this heavily DIY-ed Beach Birthday Party!

Beach Party Food Tables

What’s a Beach Birthday Party without delicious island-inspired food?

My Filipino family members created a delicious buffet of Fried Rice, Pancit Noodles, Lumpia {Egg Rolls}, and Filipino Barbecue on a Stick. We served Milk Cartons {with adorable, matching Paper Straws}, CapriSuns, and Water {with adorable, matching Beach Birthday Party Labels}.

I purchased the customized Water Bottle Labels, Food Tent Cards, and Printable Banners from Etsy.

Beach Birthday Party Snacks

Along with the food, kids love snacks. I served Beach Balls {cheese balls}, Diving Sticks {pretzels}, and Goldfish out of Sand Buckets w/ Shovels.

The adorable Paper Cups and chevron Snack Bags were a huge hit with the smaller guests. They were purchased from the Pink Lemonade Party Supply Etsy Shop, along with the Paper Straws and Ice Cream Cups.

Goldfish Marshmallow Pops

My DIY Goldfish Marshmallow Pops were delicious and a fun addition to the Under the Sea lineup.

Beach Birthday Party Cake

The centerpiece of any Birthday is always the cake!  This beauty was made by my best friend Amy, along with Tasha. They went along with our invites and theme of a Beach Party in January by detailing with a Snowman in a Grass Skirt and Snow in the Sand!

Beach Ball Smash Cake

And a Beach Ball Smash Cake for the Birthday Girl!

Moreaya’s adorable custom Birthday Shirt and matching Headband were purchased from Etsy.

Ice Cream Cups

We couldn’t leave Big Sister out, so she handed out the cute Ice Cream Cups w/ Wooden Spoons our of her Ice Cream Shop!

For our Decor, I had a couple of beautiful matching “Splish Splash” and “Moreaya is 1!” Banners.  I also made this DIY Banner which displayed all of Moreaya’s Monthly Pictures {1 month – 12 months}. Guests loved looking at this!

As each child left, they took with them a Bucket filled with Beach Birthday Party Goodies!
