White Chocolate Cranberry Holiday Cheese Ball Recipe

This holiday cheese ball recipe was inspired by a collaboration with Back to Nature through the Mambo Sprouts Blogger program. All opinions are my own.

The stockings are hung, the lights are strung, and it’s time for holiday entertaining to begin! If you’re entertaining this season, check out this delicious holiday cheese ball recipe that all your guests will love.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… eating, um, I mean baking and entertaining are my favorite parts of the Christmas season. I remember making Christmas candy when I was little with my Mom and we’re still doing it this year… what a blessing! It’s even more fun when I can include my own girls in the holiday baking [and taste testing] sessions.

One tradition that we’ve always done in our family is open presents from one another on Christmas Eve at exactly 6pm. My Mom always took a picture of me pointing to the clock at 6 on the dot because I was so excited to get the present opening party started. Another part of our Christmas Eve tradition is to eat appetizers and all the candy treats that we’d made in the week leading up to the holiday for dinner. It’s something that is just so fun for our family!

So when Back to Nature sent me all these amazing goodies, I couldn’t help but think of all the holiday entertaining ideas I could do with them!

Our family has been a fan of Back to Nature cookies for a couple of years now. We live about 2 hours away from the closest Whole Foods and while shopping for specialty foods for Sophia, we tried a sample of their individual bags of Mini Chocolate Chunk Cookies. There weren’t many chocolate chip cookies that she could eat at the time, after her dairy allergy diagnosis, so they made a big impression.

All of the goodies that Back to Nature sent this week did also. I’m not sure if it’s a Southern thing, but we love to have nuts sitting out at holiday parties. The Cashew Almond Pistachio mix makes the perfect side dish to this holiday cheese ball recipe.

An even better pairing are the Stoneground Wheat Crackers from Back to Nature. I kind of couldn’t quit eating them when I was making the white chocolate cranberry cheese ball! They’re so hearty and full of flavor, which makes them pair perfectly wit this sweet holiday cheese ball recipe. These crunchy crackers are made with organic ingredients like whole wheat flakes, whole brown flax seed, and sprinkled with sea salt.

This white chocolate cranberry holiday cheese ball recipe is sweet, trust me. It’s more of a dessert type cheese ball, which is why those savory crackers pair perfectly with it! You could easily put your own twist on the cheese ball – using dried cranberries rather than fresh. I just love making fresh cranberries because they’re so delicious and smell so festive. This cheese ball is also the perfect thing to make with your leftover cranberry sauce from Christmas dinner!

If you’re looking for the perfect pairing for this holiday cheese ball recipe, you’ve found it in these crunchy crackers. But don’t let your entertaining stop there – be sure to add in a bowl of mixed nuts and a dish of delicious Back to Nature Fudge Mint Cookies too!
