Earlier this week I published a post sharing 31 of the most popular Halloween Kids Books, which got me thinking… books make the perfect non-candy Halloween treat! Then, I started thinking there really are a ton of different “treats” that you can give out as Halloween candy alternatives.
While candy may still be the most popular treat to hand out, choosing some of these will not only make you a great house to hit during Trick-or-Treating with parents, but with the kiddos too. I can tell you that any house that gives out DIY slime or glitter Halloween tattoos is going to be a BIG hit with my girls!
To get you started with some great Halloween candy alternatives, I compiled a great round-up of ideas to help you with non-candy treats this Halloween!

As a vegan, I try not to give out candy because I don't want to buy it or have it in the house and because I am aware of allergies. I try to give out noncandy treats like pencils, but I like the idea of glowsticks, because that is something that kids can use right away.
