One of the first areas of my home that I chose to “detoxify” were my cleaning products. I started my eco friendly journey right before my oldest daughter was born. She’ll be turning 13 in a couple of months, so I’ve had 13 years of trying to find the best non toxic cleaning products for my family.
A few of the things I look for in natural cleaners, in no particular order, are:
- Eco-friendliness of the packaging
- Non toxic ingredients
- Kid and pet safe
- Efficacy of a product
One of the latest cleaning products that I’ve tried meets all of these and more. Force of Nature is an innovative cleaning system that is definitely kid and pet safe, has a great eco friendly model, and is EPA registered.
It kills 99.9% of viruses & bacteria, even Staph, MRSA, Norovirus, Influenza A, Salmonella, Pseudomonas and Listeria when used as directed.
First, what good is a natural cleaning product if it doesn’t actually clean? This is one area that I’ve definitely gotten caught up in with other natural cleaners. While I’m not sure every single surface of my home needs to be completely sanitized, I do want that option with a non toxic cleaner.
Force of Nature cleaner does just that, in a few ways. It works as a multi-surface cleaner that can tackle grease, grime, mold, mildew, sticky messes, soap scum… just to name a few.
But that same bottle can also act as a sanitizing spray and deodorizer, cutting down on the need for multiple cleaners and single-use plastic bottles.
And even better? When you need a refill you’re not going to be ordering more bottles… just these small Activator capsules. This is what turns plain tap water into a multi-surface cleaner, deodorizer, sanitizer, and disinfectant that kills 99.9% of bacteria and viruses.
Of course, you’ll need the Force of Nature appliance to make that magic happen, so I would suggest starting out with a Force of Nature Bundle, since you can save 40% right now with code WOWCLEAN! With it, you’ll have everything you need to get started cleaning your home with non toxic cleaners.

Once you run out of Activator capsules, you can order more without having to order more bottles. Unless you want extra, of course. I have found that having 1 bottle that does ALL the cleaning that Force of Nature cleaner does makes cleaning my home feel easier, faster, and definitely more efficient. But I do have my eyes on this trio set of travel-sized bottles for upcoming trips.
Let’s get back to how the Force of Nature cleaner becomes the medical-grade disinfectant and cleaning solution that it becomes with just tap water. In fact, Force of Nature is on the EPA’s approved lists for COVID-19 & Monkeypox virus. Their formula also kills respiratory viruses and the viruses that cause flus.
I won’t begin to try to understand the science behind the electrolyzing of salt, water, and vinegar and how it becomes such an effective cleaning agent. But, I’ll tell you that Force of Nature has all that information on their website, including side by side studies of their product compared to name brand products.
Spoiler – it works just as well as ones with lots of chemicals.

Force of Nature cleaner couldn’t be more simple to make. You simply fill the Electrolyzer bottle with water then squeeze in the Activator Capsules contents. Turn the Electrolyzer on and wait approximately 9 minutes for the solution to be created. Once it’s finished, the blue light will turn green and you can pour the solution into your spray bottle.
I prefer to unplug the Electrolyzer, but if you do leave it plugged in, the lights will change color as the days go to let you know once the cleaner isn’t effective any longer. I prefer to write on the back of the bottle to remember to use it within 14 days.

If you have also looked at switching to more eco friendly cleaners, you may have, like me, tried to make your own cleaning solutions. While I do love a DIY cleaner, I really love getting rid of germs more. I love that I get both of those with Force of Nature cleaner – a non toxic cleaner that actually works.
And if you’re thinking that all you need to do is add a little vinegar and salt to water to make this product, Force of Nature shares this about their Activator Capsules:
The chemistry is sensitive enough that even being off by a small percent you could easily make bleach, create a solution that doesn’t meet EPA required germ-kill rates, and/or create a solution without the right shelf life for the disinfecting ingredient. These risks are why the EPA requires the Capsules as part of our approval to sell Force of Nature as a disinfectant.
Lastly, because of the ingredients, you don’t have to worry about kids and pets being around when you clean. Gone are the days of rushing out of a room to try to breathe while you’re cleaning. I don’t notice any scent at all with Force of Nature cleaner.
Because it’s kid and pet safe, I also love using it as a deodorizer in my kids’ rooms, the family room where our dog, Collie hangs out most of the time, and around the cat’s litter box.
If you’re looking for a natural cleaner that can do it all, I highly recommend checking out the Force of Nature cleaner.
