I received Ella’s Kitchen organic baby food pouches to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own. Links to Amazon may be affiliate links. Thank you!
We recently had the chance to try out the line of Organic baby food pouches from Ella’s Kitchen. We were sent a sample box of all different flavors, in both veggie and fruit combination, veggie only and the fruit smoothie packs.
I was super excited for Sophia to try them, so as soon as the box came, I ripped it open and let her “choose” which smoothie fruit pack she would have for snack.
There are quite a few lines of “pouch” style foods on the market now and Ella’s is the first one that we tried. Honestly, I was afraid to buy them. Sophia has never been fond of pureed fruit. The only way that I could get her to eat fruit is with a Mesh Feeder. As you can see, she picked “the Purple one”, which is a mixture of Organic fruit puree (bananas, apples, blackcurrants, blueberries) and organic lemon juice.
She devoured it. At first we squirted it straight into the spoon, but she enjoyed it much more like this…
Why I Love Ella’s Kitchen: Ella’s Kitchen was made by a father who wanted his child to have a better tasting, healthy snack/meal. Simple. The ingredients are Organic and right on the label. We love the pouch style. It’s fun and easily fits into the diaper bag or purse. But most of all… we love Ella’s Kitchen because it’s available at Target!!! Unlike alot of the other pouch brands, I can go down the street and buy all I want (and believe me, we have!) She loves this stuff!
