It’s the most wonderful time of the year, which means it’s time for everyone’s favorite elf to come from the North Pole to sit on a shelf during the holidays! The Elf on the Shelf tradition is one that my girls have loved for over 12 years now and our elf, Criddle, is still at the heart of our Christmas memories.
My girls look more forward to their Elf’s arrival than they do Christmas Eve, I think! That’s what inspired me to create these Elf coloring pages.
While their Elf is pretty lazy, she does bring some fun with her. I expect this year she’ll bring a few of these coloring sheets in addition to the other fun Elf games and activities she does.
As soon as Thanksgiving is over, we are a Christmas family! Actually, sometimes it’s a few weeks before Thanksgiving, when we start to bring out some Christmas decor. But our elf always arrives on Thanksgiving night, so that’s when we really get into the festive spirit!
