Elf is a tradition that’s been going for 10 years in my house. Our elf, Criddle, arrives on the morning after Thanksgiving every year. The Elf arrival is one that’s HUGELY anticipated by both of my girls each year.
To make the special morning even more special, our elf usually brings an arrival gift with them. Don’t get any crazy ideas, we have a pretty lazy elf as you can see in these easy Elf ideas, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have a little bit of extra fun on some mornings… especially on her first trip from the North Pole.
Whether you have younger kids or older kids, the elf bringing a small present on their return is a great way to get everyone excited and in the Christmas spirit.
The first time your elf arrives is so much fun and having them bring something special with them is a great start of the holiday season. I’ve got lots of fun ideas that you can use in this post!
