This recipe for the easiest DIY iced coffee ever was inspired by a collaboration with Silk.
If there’s one thing I love more than coffee, it’s Iced Coffee. Yes they may seem similar at first glance, but oh no. A delicious glass of Iced Coffee cannot be beat. Luckily for me, I often have iced coffee without meaning to…
If that’s your current version of Iced Coffee, you’re definitely not alone! But today I’m going to share with you the easiest recipe you’ve ever heard of and it tastes a lot better than that coffee that really isn’t supposed to be cold.
It all starts with Silk Almond Milk Creamers. It’s a product that I might normally pass up in the store because I’m not completely dairy free, but since my daughter is, I take more notice to Silk products. Sophia has been drinking almond milk exclusively for about 3 years now and we’ve always purchased Silk Almond Milk for her because of the quality. So when I did notice the Silk Creamers at our local grocery store, I knew I wanted to try them.
I’ve always been a fan of cream in my coffee, but I pass on the sugar. These creamers are exactly what you want – creamy, full of flavor, but not overpowering to the coffee itself, which is the whole point of a great cup of coffee, right?!
The Silk Almond Milk Creamer is the perfect addition to any regular cup, but I’ve been taking mine a step further lately and frothing up my cream in the mornings. If you don’t have a milk frother run to Amazon and get one now. This one came with my Ninja Coffee Bar and I use it daily. I was so excited that it works just perfectly with the almond milk creamer and created delicious froth. If you’re wondering about that extra mint I’ve added, I’ve recently become addicted to adding a couple of drops of mint extract in with my Vanilla Almond Milk Creamer for the most delicious cup of coffee you’ve ever tasted! It’s true, I do take my coffee quite seriously!
But let’s get back to that easy DIY Iced Coffee Recipe, shall we? Since the temperatures are in the 90s almost everyday here in east Tennessee, iced coffee is what I’m enjoying the most around the house and this recipe couldn’t get any easier. Are you ready?!
Make a cup of strong coffee and let it chill in the fridge. Or if you have a Keurig, choose a Brew Over Ice coffee version so you’ll be ready to enjoy it immediately. Purchase Silk Almond Creamer in the Hazelnut variety and pour into your coffee over ice. Add straw and… DRINK! It really is that simple and you’ll be amazed at just how delicious this Hazelnut Iced Coffee really is. The creamers are just creamy enough, just sweet enough to make the perfect iced coffee drink!
Silk’s Almond non-GMO dairy-free coffee creamers come in 3 varieties: Vanilla, Hazelnut, and Caramel [I am still on the hunt for this in my store!].
Which flavor would be your favorite for the best DIY Iced Coffee?!
