Cloth Diaper Stash Favorites: Bummis Tots Bots Easy Fit

We all have favorites in our stash.  I admit that my favorite cloth diaper changes from month to month. I have always been open to buying and selling cloth diapers pretty regularly to get more of what my favorites are.

The problem is, I’ve often sold diapers that weren’t my favorite at the time, only to come back around and use them more.

This has never happened with the diaper I’m sharing with you today. Once I tried the Bummis Tots Bots Easy Fit diaper the first time, it’s been a constant favorite and always in my Sophia’s Moreaya’s stash rotation.

I was recently sent one of the newest prints from Bummis Tots Bots from Bouncing Babies Cloth Diaper store {free for review}. This adorable Three Little Pigs print is one of four Nursery Rhyme Prints.

I purchased my first Bummis Tots Bots Easy Fit not too long into my cloth diapering experiene with Sophia. I had read rave reviews and just had to try it. Once I found the All-in-One love, it quickly became my favorite.

Although it’s an AIO that you still have to stuff, the insert is attached so it’s not easy to lose.

Bummis Tots Bots Easy Fit Cloth Diaper

The Easy Fit is a one-size diaper which is stated to fit 8-35 pounds. Just like with any one-size diaper, it’s hard to get a good fit on a small infant because of the bulkiness. I actually found that as the girls were smaller, the Easy Fit gave me a much better fit than a bumGenius one-size, though.

Now I get an awesome fit, both in the rise and trimness of the diaper on Moreaya, who is about 23 lbs and on the middle setting of the diaper.

Although I like snap closures for older toddlers, you won’t actually find a Bummis Tots Bots Easy Fit with Snaps in my stash. Nope. I tried one, but it didn’t impress me too much. I highly, highly recommend the Tots Bots aplix.

This stuff is awesome. I truly think there is no other aplix like it on the cloth diaper market. I have diapers that are over a year old and the aplix looks as good as this new diaper.

As I stated above, this diaper is an AIO. It has a super long soaker attached that you actually fold and stuff under itself. The soaker is made of minky, a switch from the old bamboo inner that Tots Bots used to have.

Minky is a great material for cloth diapers as it absorbs fast and well, feels pretty dry to the touch, and wears well. I love the fact that I can put this diaper on the line and it’ll be completely dry in just a couple of hours – that’s not something you can say about all AIO diapers.

The minky is rather thin. This gives you a very trim diaper, but can also give you a diaper that doesn’t last quite as long between changes.

Remember, it’s doubled up, but it still doesn’t last more than 2 hours without leaks for Moreaya. Now that she’s getting to be a bit more of a heavy wetter, I just slide a JoeyBunz Hemp Insert underneath the minky and we’re good to go!  It’s my favorite combo for when we’re out in public or naptimes.

Have you tried the Tots Bots Easy Fits?

Thank you so much for your informative review. I am new to cloth diapering. That is to say, modern cloth diapering. I used the original cloth in the 70's and I am so glad they have improved upon the "old model." My daughter-in-law is expecting and I'm trying to do all the research I can before the baby is born.

We tried the Tots Bots Mini on our newborn and loved the fit and durability. These diapers are SO well made, and I love the print they sent you!!

I regret not using the Minis on my girls.  Sophia was huge at birth - 9lbs 6 oz, so I kind of expected Moreaya to be too, but she was little 6lbs 15 oz so I could have gotten some good use of them with her.  YES - these prints are adorable!  Thanks, Anne!
