Work it Out Wednesday: Where’s my Fitness Motivation?

Here I am again, another week talking about my lack of motivation to exercise.  Instead of making this a Debbie Downer post, though, let's start off with a highlight of my week…

My scale DOES know numbers less than the 130's!!! 

I hit 129.8 yesterday and was ecstatic!  Hubby said aloud what I was thinking myself "If you're doing this good without running and doing your exercises, imagine how much you'll lose when you do!"  He was proud, but I can tell he's been disappointed that I'm not pushing myself to try harder at my fitness goals. 

If you follow me on Pinterest, you may have seen my board "for the days I need a new Look".  It's a variety of pins full of hairstyles, clothing/accessory choices, and mainly fitness-inspired pins.  I pinned one yesterday that was just fabulous and something I need to look at…

  1. I totally get the lack of motivation thing. I have these really huge goals for my fitness… but when it comes down to it, some days I'm too tired, and it's too easy to talk myself out of it! Congrats on reaching your goal!

    1. It’s nice to hear that I’m not alone! I hoped that blogging about this experience would keep me a bit more accountable and motivated, we’ll see!
      I’m CLOSER to the goal – only 9lbs to go! But I was so excited to see the 120s again!
