Decrease Chances of Online Theft with Norton by Symantec

This is a Fashionista Event and a promotional item was provided to me by Coupons.com. Hosts for this event are Still Blonde after all these Years and ModlyChic. Theft.  Credit Card Fraud.  Identity Theft.  It's one of those things that you think will never happen to you. Until it does. I share a lot of information online, a lot more than I realized I did.  I shop online, I am active on Facebook and other social medias.  I write a blog for goodness sakes - and work with a lot of companies regularly.  But I still thought I was protected.  I hardly ever click on links that I don't know where they lead.  I never open emails that look suspicious.  I thought I was doing everything I should to protect myself from theft. Until it happened. Just this weekend I got a call from a credit card company that there was suspicious activity on one … [Read more...]

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of eCards from American Greetings for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine. It seems that sending Greeting Cards is a lost art.  On the green side, I don't purchase cards often unless they're for a super special occassion and I know the recipient will cherish and keep them.  But, I do realize that they mean so much to people - a little reminder that someone is thinking about you. MOMables Makes Packing Lunches Easy

Momables Giveaway

"MOMMMMM... What's for Lunch?" I hear this question way more times than I should.  And it's mainly because I'm always, always struggling with waiting too late to prepare lunch because I don't want to make the same sandwich again and then the girls are way too hungry to wait for something else so they get the avoided sandwich again.  Whew.  That sentence is as long as making lunch sometimes feels! Now, you may know that I enjoy partaking in the act of packing bento lunches for Sophia when she goes to preschool twice a week, but I admit that she doesn't get those served every day.  They're pretty easy, but I like to keep school lunch a little extra special, with the boxes and picks.  So, that's why the "What's for Lunch" question always throws me for a loop at home! Today I am introducing you to a subscription service that will make … [Read more...]

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of K12, the leader in online education for grades K-12 for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine. I have been thrilled with the opportunity to try out an online and in-home learning program with Sophia over the past couple of weeks. The Ingo Money App – Saves Time, Gas, and My Sanity

Ingo Money App

This post is sponsored by Ingo Money. All opinions are my own. Here we are starting off the 2nd month of the New Year and I'm talking New Years Resolutions.  How many of you made them?  I did not.  I didn't technically outwardly declare any type of resolution, but don't we all inwardly strive to do a little better with the start of something new? I definitely want to be healthier - eat better, exercise more.  I want to be a better Mom - run around the yard with the girls instead of worrying about the weeds in the flowers.  I want to live a little green-er, as we know small steps lead to big changes. I have taken a lot of small steps over the past 3 years after founding So Easy Being Green.  I guess you could say that you all drive me to live a green-er life for sure.  So, what will I take on this year!? Technology … [Read more...]

How I’m Sharing and Preserving our Magical Moments at Disney with Tweekaboo

photo 3

Our recent Disney trip was amazing.  AH-mazing.  I'm really hoping it wasn't a once in a lifetime type of trip because I'm already dying to go back.  We really just had the best time ever.  Honestly, I don't know who enjoyed it more - me or the girls! One thing that I know we have to do is talk about this trip a lot with the girls.  They are both really young - 3.5 and 2 - so I know it's going to be super hard for them to remember everything we got to experience.  I know that talking about our trip and looking at pictures will help preserve those memories even more. One of the ways that I'm preserving both the pictures AND the memories of our Disney trip is with the tweekaboo app! It turns out, that while we were at Disney, I used my iPhone to take more pictures than our camera.  It takes great pictures and is much more … [Read more...]

Kidoodle.TV – Educational and Entertainment Media for Kids

Watching Kidoodle TV

I participated in a Blogger Activation on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Kidoodle.TV. I received a promotional item and a free trial as a thank you for participating. I've recently been on a major search for what tablet to purchase for my girls for Christmas this year.  Since our back-of-the-headrest DVD player gave out, I decided that investing in another tablet so they could each have one when traveling was the best option for us.  But which tablet was best?  I've had a look around at the major ones and ultimately decided on another iPad, but hate the lack of parental controls on most apps... except for one - Kidoodle.TV! This app, along with my understanding of the Apple ios already, made up my mind to invest in another iPad for the girls.  I am loving Kidoodle.TV as much as my girls are! First, let me tell you a … [Read more...]
