A Look at the Mombo Nursing Pillow

mombolounging_zps53a6f92b

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Comfort and Harmony for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine. My babies are growing up.  Moreaya is already 16 months old and Sophia, my baby, is going to be 3 in less than 2 weeks.  It just doesn't seem imaginable.  I still see them both, so tiny. Even though I don't have a baby baby, I still love to look at baby products in stores.  Do you find yourself wondering over to the infant section and checking out all the new products?  I know I can't be the only one.  I was sent a Mombo nursing pillow a few weeks ago.  Although I'm not currently breastfeeding, I do remember a few things about the subject and being comfortable {both myself and the baby} was one of the most important parts of the breastfeeding … [Read more...]

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic – Princess Twilight Sparkle

mylittlepony

I love that some of the old television shows that I used to watch as a child are becoming popular again.  Do you remember My Little Pony? It was one of my favorites!  I remember having the little pony figurines and I used to love to brush their hair! Although we mainly only use the television for educational shows right now, I'm trying to start upping our DVD collection.  In about a month, we plan on cancelling our satellite contract and taking out a television service completely.  So, I know that there will be times that the girls want to watch a show, so I'm excited that I can add the new  to their collection! Sophia and I sat down and watched a couple of episodes the other day and I have to say, we both enjoyed them!  Although the sensible girl she is, she … [Read more...]

PLAY-DOH Board Books

Playdoh-Blog-Announcement-Image

This review was made possible by Mom Spark Media. Thoughts are my own. I received PLAY-DOH books for the purpose of this review.  Amazon links are affiliate links. My girls love to read.  They would seriously be happier getting a new book than any kind of new toy!  Sophia caught the reading bug a little later than Moreaya.  As soon as Moreaya could crawl, she would always have a book in her hand because she would go straight to them! Sophia has always been a little more of a dependent child.  Although she's totally independent in doing things, she's not satisfied at just looking at pictures.  She wants to know what the words on the page say.  She wants you to read to her.  She wants to interact with the books. With out new PLAY-DOH Board Books, … [Read more...]

What’s Your Favorite Way to Use Wool Dryer Balls?

woolzies1

Wait - Maybe I should start this post by saying "Other than in your laundry routine... What's your favorite use of wool dryer balls?"  But that makes an assumption that you all use wool dryer balls in your laundry and *gasp* some of you might not yet.  Wait, what!? If you're trying to go green, one easy way to achieve a more eco friendly lifestyle is to definitely pick up a box of wool dryer balls. I was recently sent {free for review} a box of Woolzies Wool Dryer Balls.  This isn't my first rodeo with dryer balls {oh my - never thought I would type that sentence}, so I know exactly what to look for: Tightly, woven wool so I know they won't fall apart after a few loads of laundry Size that resembles a tennis ball Great … [Read more...]

Cloth Diaper Stash Favorites: Bummis Tots Bots Easy Fit

totsbotspin

We all have favorites in our stash.  I admit that my favorite cloth diaper changes from month to month.  I have always been open to buying and selling cloth diapers pretty regularly to get more of what my favorites are.  The problem is, I've often sold diapers that weren't my favorite at the time, only to come back around and use them more. This has never happened with the diaper I'm sharing with you today.  Once I tried the Bummis Tots Bots Easy Fit diaper the first time, it's been a constant favorite and always in my Sophia's Moreaya's stash rotation. I was recently sent one of the newest prints from Bummis Tots Bots from Bouncing Babies Cloth Diaper store {free for review}.  This adorable Three Little Pigs print is one of four Nursery Rhyme … [Read more...]

My Number 1 Baby Registry Item – Video Baby Monitor

pro-black

I'm by no means a Baby Registry expert, but after having 2 babies I do know what I used and didn't use that was on my Baby Registry Checklist!  When I was pregnant with Sophia {who is now almost 3 - EEK!}, hubby and I tossed around the idea of purchasing a video baby monitor.  We finally concluded that it was just too much of an expense and didn't think it was really needed. Oh boy were we wrong! That is one {along with a few more} of my biggest regrets.  It would have made me sleep easier with my first baby, I know!  We did end up getting a video monitor when Moreaya was first born.  He helped me relax so much more at night when she was transitioned to her crib.  From that moment, any time someone asked me what should and shouldn't be on their … [Read more...]

Celebrate Earth Day with Organic Toddler Clothing

owlloveyouclose

What better way to celebrate Earth Day than with some cute organic toddler clothing, right!? Stylish Family Organic Living has that and much more.  They sent me, or actually Moreaya, a cute shirt to celebrate the upcoming eco friendly holiday! The adorable "Owl Love You" organic toddler tshirt that we were sent is from bioME 5 collection.  It's a super soft, certified organic cotton tee that is as cute as it is soft! I love tagless tees for the girls.  I also love putting clothing on them that I know won't irritate their skin.  This shirt is a beautiful shade of ivory that is unbleached and printed with waterbased inks {that didn't fade one bit when I washed it}.  Moreaya is wearing the 2T shirt.  I was advised that they run a bit small, but it … [Read more...]

Eco Friendly Spring Cleaning {discount code!}

Eco Friendly Spring Cleaning

If you follow me on instagram, you probably saw my very embarassing kitchen sink a few weeks ago. Yep, I did it.  I kind of regretted sharing the picture as soon as I hit "submit" until I got lots of "Nope, you're not alone!"  It seems like I've got in a bit of a habit of doing the dishes in the morning because after Dinner I'm tired and just want to play with the girls.  But, what you didn't see in the sink full of dishes was the actual sink underneath!  Before I became a SAHM, I often thought that homes where the Mom stayed home all day had to be the cleanest in the world.  Hmm.  I was a little mistaking because of the simple fact that homes where the Mom stays home also means homes where kids are home the most {and able to make a mess ALL DAY LONG … [Read more...]

Family Date Night x 2!

Olive Garden

I love Family Date Nights, don't you?  We three girls get to get all dressed up.  We get to eat delicious food.  We get to eat delicious food that I didn't have to stand in the kitchen preparing AND no dishes!  Did I mention that I absolutely love Family Date Nights!? Don't get me wrong, I love Date Nights with the Hubby too.  We do them, just not quite as often as we used to.  We honestly just enjoy going to eat with our girls.  They're well behaved, 9 times out of 10, and they enjoy eating special dinners too!  So, when I was given the opportunity to check out the Buy One, Take One Menu at Olive Garden through my partnership with Mom Central Consulting, I knew we would be making it a Family Date Night.  Why?  The girls loved Italian food just as much as Rob and … [Read more...]
