Sweet Tea in a Mason Jar: It’s a Southern Breeze Thing

Tracking PixelThis is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Southern Breeze Sweet Tea.

Southern Breeze Sweet Tea Mason Jar

It’s no secret that I’m a Southern Girl.  I’ve shared with you time and time again that I love living in east Tennessee – at the foot of the mountains in the South.

There are so many, many things to love about living in the South – the friendly neighbors, the slow pace of living, but one thing that tops just about everyone’s list that are both natives and transplants is… the food.  I can talk to you about Southern and Fried Foods all day long, but there’s one thing that you’ll almost always see on the table next to any good Southern meal, oh you know what I’m talking about… Tea!

Sweet Tea Outside

Not just any tea, mind you.  Sweet Iced Tea.  If you go to a restaurant and ask for unsweetened Tea, sure you’ll get it, but if you order “Tea”, it’ll come sweet because that’s the way we drink it down here!  But, it also may contribute a bit to the fact that our waist lines in the South tend to be a little larger than others – that and the delicious fried foods and biscuits and gravy.  But thank goodness, Southern Breeze has released a new product just for Southern Belles [and gentlemen] to enjoy our Sweet Tea without the calories!

Sweet Tea Mason Jar

Yep, I said without the calories as in… a mason jar full of deliciously sweet,

Sweet Tea with ZERO calories.

How?  Well, I’m glad you asked because I was going to show you!

Box of Tea Bags

In addition to having perhaps the cutest tea tags ever – Southern Breeze contains sweetener right inside the tea bag.  No adding cup after cup [I’m telling you – we like our tea sweet] of sugar once your tea has brewed… with Southern Breeze, your tea is sweetening as it steeps!

Southern Breeze Tea Steeping

The process of brewing the tea is super simple as well, which I love because I never think to make tea until I am actually ready to drink it.  So forget the hours of waiting for sun tea to brew – you simply boil 2 quarts of water then put 2 Southern Breeze Sweet Tea Bags in your pitcher [no extra sugar, remember!] and steep for 3-5 minutes!

Since Southern Breeze Sweet Tea uses Splenda to sweeten the tea – it has ZERO calories.  It’s real tea leaves and real sweetener right inside the bag!  Believe me, it’s sweet enough for this Country Girl and no calories means it’s a daily drink for me now!

Taste of the South

You’re going to want to connect with Southern Breeze just like I do, to keep up with what other interesting products this company has brewing!  You can follow Southern Breeze on Facebook, Twitter, and my favorite… instagram!
