How Do I Use Essential Oils?

This is a sponsored conversation about using Essential Oils, on behalf of Spark Naturals.  I received product to facilitate this review.  All opinions expressed are my own.

Unless you’ve been under a rock, you’ve probably been seeing a lot about essential oils popping up, well, everywhere.  I’ve seen blog posts about EOs from friends, numerous pins when I am browsing Pinterest, and some friends have been asking if I have experience with EOs.  Up to this point, I didn’t have much so when the subject was brought up – I was always curious!

Using Essential Oils

How Do I Use Essential Oils?

Isn’t that what we all want to know?!  I see absolutely amazing pins and tutorials, but as a beginner, I’m afraid to invest a ton of money in all types of different oils because really I don’t know what to do with them.  Well, didn’t.  Today, I’m going to share with you some great ways to start, as a total beginner, on using essential oils!

Spark Naturals Essential 4

One of the first things I noticed about essential oils is that I could really tie some money up in this hobby.  It’s just about like any green living subject – the output is going to be more at first, but less than buying tons of products that EOs can replace in the future.  So, purchasing essential oils is definitely an investment.  Spark Naturals seems like a great place for anyone to start with essential oils.  I’ve found that their oils are quite affordable and are packaged into great kits, to benefit new and experienced oilers.

Spark Naturals EOs

The Essential 4 Pack from Spark Naturals is a beginner’s dream – 4 of the most popular essential oils offered at an affordable price of $19.99.  The kit comes with 5mL bottles of Lavender, Lemon, Melaleuca [commonly known as Tea Tree], and Peppermint.  It’s easy to get lost in the sea of “Oh, I need that oil for this, and this oil for this” and in a perfect world, we could invest in every oil, but if you’re starting out that can seem a bit intimidating.  Having a great intro kit, like the Essential 4 Pack, makes the process simpler.

But don’t think that by starting out with only 4 oils, you’ll be missing out.  Oh no!  Do a little searching, or better yet, check out the searching I’ve done and take a look at the MANY uses there are for just these 4 main Spark Naturals Essential Oils.  Many of the uses come right in your Essential 4 Pack – just take a look at the booklet in the picture below!

Uses for Spark Naturals

A few of my other favorite ways to use these 4 Essential Oils are:

Make Your Own Scrub

Homemade Refrigerator Deodorizers

Homemade Sunburn Spray

Oil Pulling with Peppermint EOs

And here are a few that I just have to try, although I’ll need to invest in a few more oils first.

I have to know…

How will you or do you use Essential Oils?

If you’re looking for even more ways to use Essential Oils, Spark Naturals has a ton of options to help.  In addition to Kits, Essentials Oils and Oil Blends, Spark Naturals also carries a great line of accessories including Books, numerous amounts of containers, Veggie Capsules [to ingest oils], and Diffusers.  I can’t wait to order some great accessories to really dive into using Essential Oils!
