Giving Creative Gifts this Holiday Season

I just wrapped up the SEBG Holiday Gift Guide over the weekend so you’d think that I have all my Holiday Shopping done, right?  Well, I don’t.  You see, those that I hold nearest and dearest aka my hubby and the girls are the hardest people to buy for!  I suppose I try too hard to find the perfect gift for them, probably because giving Creative Gifts is definitely one of my strongest love languages.

I know a few big gifts that they would love, but our budget just doesn’t quite cover those.  The small gifts, but gifts that still mean something, something they’ll really love and enjoy, is what I’m on the search for.  In fact, Sophia’s preschool sent home a note last week letting me know that I could bring a wrapped gift for “Santa to give her” at their Christmas Party.  I thought that sounded so fun – and a $10 gift should be easy to pick out.  Wrong!  I couldn’t think of anything that would be just that perfect gift from Santa to give her personally!

Luckily, Sophia and I both got a sneak peek at the Happy and Healthy Walgreens Holiday Guide this weekend.  It just hit the stores yesterday, so you can see it now too!  So, being a smart and sneaky Mom that I am, I had her sit down and look through it with me.  Little did I know that we’d both be finding plenty of things for our Lists!

This isn’t your normal, run of the mill, Store Holiday Guide.  Oh no.  Walgreens has done so much of the work for you {and me} – by pairing great items together and picturing Holiday Gift Ideas for every single person in the family… including your dog!  I’m going to have to drop some major hints, or just go ahead and fill my own, for the Ology Stocking Stuffers too!

giftsforwholefamSpeaking of everything, I love the guides for all the family members, but the extras in this Gift Guide from Walgreens are what makes it a book to keep all throughout the Season.  With recipes, ideas for decorating, right alongside a great Gift Guide – I’ve got all the help I need for Christmas!

walgreensholidayguidewindowshoppingWe made a fun little game while browsing the Walgreens Guide too.  She circled everything she wanted on Santa to bring her… and what Santa should bring me… and her Sister… and… Well, there were a LOT of circles, let me tell you!  But it was so worth it because I got two great gift ideas for her “Santa Gift” that are both under $10 – the Bubble Guppies bath toy and a Dinorsaur!  She proclaimed “I really, really want that Mom!”  So I think I nailed that gift for sure!

  1. I had my daughter circle items she liked in the holiday guide as well! It’s so nice to know what they really want and not just guess. #client
