About Us:

Red Charlotte is run by two mamas with a passion for beautiful fabric and comfortable, ergonomic babywearing. The shop was opened in 2011 by Charlotte as an answer to the utilitarian suck pads that dominated the market at the time. As the line expanded and dates to begin circumnavigating the globe with her family loomed nearer (read about their awesome adventures on Rebel Heart here); Paige joined the team to handle day-to-day production of Red Charlotte's products and keep up to date on new fabrics and emerging trends in babywearing. Charlotte is now new product developer and is working on unveiling several new babywearing accessories in the coming year. She stays focused on marketing and brand development. Paige stays busy with two littles underfoot and additionally working as San Diego's first babywearing consultant. In addition to her busy life aboard, Charlotte is expecting her second little girl any day now!

Red Charlotte quickly gained popularity with the offering of gorgeous suck pads, and Charlotte quickly tackled the next problem-how to store her carrier when not in use. "It would just get flung on my couch and lay there like an octopus. There was no elegant, efficient way to store it!" And so the Red Charlotte original Baby Carrier Stuff Sack was born. Additional features available include a messenger strap and zippered pocket to make the stuff sack even more useful and portable. All products are handmade in sunny San Diego in a busy studio full of learning and play, both for Paige and her kiddos! We take great care to ensure that every item exceeds expectation, is completely beautiful and most importantly, functional. Charlotte and Paige both have a deep love for fabric and fiber and love to create custom items as well.
