Zoobies sent us their newest addition to the line – Glow Bugs and Flicker the Firefly! The new line Glow Bugs line is so new, it's not even on their website yet, but I'm going to show it to you first!
Glow Bugs are very similar to their Blanket Pets line. They're adorable little animals with a blanket hidden inside, to make it extra cuddly! But what makes the new Glow Bugs, and Flicker the Firefly stand out is they glow in the dark!
With special state of the art technology, these adorable Glow Bugs feature a soft material that actually glows in the dark. No worries about chemicals either – they're machine washable and the glow keeps going! You simply hold the Glow Bug to a light source {artificial or natural} for about 3 minutes, then watch Flicker glow!
I couldn't get a great picture of it glowing myself, but the longer you expose it to light, the longer it glows. It's subtle enough to make a nice glow at night – not enough to keep your child awake.
Sophia spotted Flicker the Firefly as soon as she woke up from nap one day. She immediately claimed her and wanted to know all about her!
There are 2 velcro tabs to undo that hold the blanket rolled up underneath Flicker. This makes for an easy folding process. When Flicker is all folded, she doubles as a pet and a pillow!
Sophia just loves this little gal. The Glow Bug is super soft and just the right size for cuddling a toddler. It didn't take Little Sister long to realize there was a new toy in the house either…
But she wanted it for a good reason…

I think it's safe to say that the girls are quite enamoured with Flicker the Firefly. They're still loving their Book Buddies too – we're definitely a Zoobies loving family. I definitely have my eye on a couple of Storytime Pals too – perfect for upcoming Birthday Presents!

My kids would love this! A friend got a dream light for Christmas, so now my kids call our simple wall plug light a dream light {I paid $2 at target for it…just a simple night light I keep in the bathroom!} They would like something like this in their rooms!
