Being an Earth's Best blogger means that we have a lot of empty snack containers around our house. Well, even if I wasn't an Earth's Best blogger, we probably would still have a lot. My girls go through Puffs, Earth's Best Pop Snax, and Happy Snax {ok, those are mainly for me – love them!} like there's a shortage!
I did a post back in August about 5 Ways to Re-Use Disposable Snack Containers. This time we're back with even more containers and we've come up with a few new ideas and a fun, Winter Craft too!
I previously had the idea for making a homemade bowling set out of the snack containers. It works well and is easier for Sophia to stand them up – although, they're a little more sturdy and harder to knock down. But, you know, if you hold the ball and just whack them, they go down pretty easy. This is how most toddlers play anyways, right?!
Our favorite activity that we tried out was definitely making a Snack Container Tower. It really challenged Sophia's patience, hand/eye coordination, and motor skills.
It challenged Moreaya's too…
What's more fun than knocking down your Sister's Tower?!
Lastly Sophia and I came up with a fun, fast, and easy 3-D art project to use our Recycled Snack Containers. All you need to make the 3-D Snowman is a Snack Container, Glue, Foam Sheets, and Pom Poms. You could definitely use different art products and switch the design up a bit!
This was a very easy craft for Sophia to do. I simply helped her put the glue where it was needed and she attached everything herself. I could definitely see being able to make lots of Holiday Crafts – a stand-up penguin and maybe even Santa himself!
What do you do with Recycled Snack Containers in your house?

I love crafts that repurpose items that would otherwise go into a landfill. What a cute, inexpensive idea, Lindsey!

Thanks Angie! Sophia LOVES crafts so if we can make something out of stuff we already have around the house, that’s a WIN WIN!
