With the impending New Year coming {tonight, REALLY!?}, I've been thinking a lot about my upcoming look for the year. I know I definitely want to hit my target goal weight and maintain – as well as start up my exercise and running routines again. Now I have the perfect accessory to help me get active again… an Active Accessories Accessory Pouch!
Since I had Sophia, I pretty much ditched a purse. I quickly learned that toting a diaper bag and a pocket book was too much so I started carrying wristlets. One of the problems I found was that if the wristlet held all of the things I needed it to – it was too bulky, or on the contrary too small to hold everything. The cute little accessory pouch from Active Accessories is seriously the perfect size. It holds exactly what I need it to – a couple of cards, ID, a bill or two, and my phone. I can easily clip my keys on the outside or the inside, although if you have your phone on the inside, the keys fit better on the outer.
I've been thinking about how I'll use the Active Accessories pouch when I go on walks/runs, but it's really versatile for lots of different exercise activities. I can also see the zipper pouch holding earrings and rings while I do yoga.
I left my iPhone 3GS sticking out a bit, but you can see it fits perfectly and will zip around it. The Active Accessories Accessory Pouch is available in 4 different colors and I'm loving the black with polka dots that I have. It's held up well and fits great in my hand, or on my wrist while I walk. I can even clip it to the diaper bag so it doesn't get lost in the bottom when we're running errands.
I mentioned everything that can fit in the pouch, but you can see here that it's not just an open accessory on the inside. One side of the Accessory Pouch is a tuck in pocket and the other has a zipper. In the above picture I have my keys threaded through the magnetic snap so they can't fall out when I unzip the whole pouch.

What a neat idea! I could never figure out the best place to put my keys when I used to run. So need to get back in to that!
I seriously need one of these – I hate carrying a purse and normally stick everything in my pockets.
