Welcome to the Fall in Love with Handmade Event, hosted by Going Green with the Grizls, The Vagabond Studio, and Eight Days a Week!  This hop is full of bloggers giving away prize packages, worth at least $15, of handmade products!  After you've entered my giveaway, hop around to the others to see the variety and love of handmade items!  Each giveaway you enter gives you another entry into the Event's Grand Prize!

If you've been reading SEBG for the last few months, you know that I've been blogging Mama Cloth {a Series}. {And if you haven't, well, read them and catch up!}.  The series was inspired by the challenge set forth from It's a Girl Thing, PERIOD.  They challenged women of all ages, bloggers and non-bloggers, to switch to cloth pads and share their stories both online and off.  I've blogged about my comfortableness with Mama Cloth, the health advantages, and costs.

Now, to bring a close to the series AND to offer a fantastic Giveaway Prize to you – It's a Girl Thing, PERIOD {a division of Posh Pads} has offered one lucky SEBG reader the chance at winning a Starter Kit!  It's A Girl Thing PERIOD Starter Kit includes 10 inch light/medium pad, 8 inch heavy pad, (2) 8inch panty liners, and one 7 inch mini pad.  This set is worth $45 and a fantastic stash to start your switch to re-usable menstrual options!!

  1. Seemed strange to cloth diaper the baby, but dump my own stuff in a landfill every month! Now I use MC as backup for my Lunette cup :)

  2. I LOVE my mama cloth. I was using it exclusively, but now I use a cup and cloth as backup and on my light days. It really is amazing! Super easy to wash, you never run out and they’re just all around great. I’d love to win these to expand my stash

  3. I switched to mama cloth when I started making my own cloth diapers and found out how easy it is to make my own!

  5. I have not used mama cloth, but I would love to try it! I don’t really have any hesitations…upfront cost is kind of prohibitive, especially since my period is so infrequent (pregnancy and nursing, and hoping to get pregnant again soon).

  6. I haven’t used it before since I’m new to sewing and can’t really afford to buy them. This would be a great start to get a stash built!

  7. Would love to build my stash and try a new brand!

  8. Never tried cloth pads, but as I’m making the switch to cloth diapers, I’d say this is a good time to give it a shot!

  9. Trying to build my stash. :-)

I haven’t used mama cloth before. I would like these for my daughter who will be starting her period soon.

  11. I switched because I literally would break out into a rash. Mama Cloth is so much softer

  12. I have two cloth pads and they are very comfortable so I am trying to build a stash so I can make they switch

  13. Never tried that brand – but have heard the name – I’d try it in the future.

  14. We currently use Mama Cloth & love it. My 14 year old won’t use anything else!!!

  15. I only learned about mama cloth when I started cloth diapering a few months ago. When AF returns, I would like to give these a try!

  16. After cloth diapering my little one I couldn’t think of using disposable pads for myself. I have only had a few needs for them, I am building my stash for postpartum

  17. Justice Montgomery says:

I have started building a stash for my daughter and I. I’ve got some that I made. I won some pads from Glad Rags and I got a couple of panty liners from Luna Pads. We haven’t really used them. She hasn’t gotten her period yet, but is excited to be actively helping to make and choose her own pads. And I have fallen in love with my cup, but want the cloth panty liner as backup, but I’m only getting a period once every three months on my BC, so we are pretty much just hanging out.

  18. After I had my son, we had chosen to cloth diaper, but there I was changing pad after disposable pad post-partum. Seemed like there had to be a better way. I looked and found mama cloth. AMAZING! Cloth pads are so much more comfortable and make so much more sense than disposables. I have a reasonable stash at this point. I would be winning these for my sister! :-)

  19. I have wanted to try mamma cloth for a while but have not had the chance yet!

  20. I never thought about using cloth pads until I became pregnant with our first little one and have been buying cloth diapers! If baby can use cloth, so can I :) No reservations, just haven’t needed any cloth until after babe is born!

  21. chelsea preston says:

I have never tried mama cloth but I do cloth diaper and would love to try it

  22. I would love to make the switch to using these since I see and hear alot of good reviews from the other bloggers that use them.

  23. I started using cloth pads a year or two ago…I just sewed some of my own! I first decided to use them to save money and for the cute flannel prints. :)

  24. I love cloth pads and would love to grow my stash! It wasn’t a hard transition at all and I would recommend the switch!

  25. I have not used Mama cloth but hope to soon.

  26. I recently had a baby and want to switch when the time comes. Previously, it was a money issue. I just did not have the money to invest in Mama Cloth, especially when the other ones were so inexpensive (even free sometimes) when I combined sales with coupons.

  27. I have been using cloth pads for over 3 years, I found out about them through cloth diaper groups. I love everything about them! I am entering this for my two tween daughters because they are excited about stocking up for when their time comes.

  28. Amy Bailey says:

I love all things about cloth!! :D I love that I never have to buy pads. I love the fun patterns! I love the soft feel. There is nothing I dont like :)

  29. Amanda Alvarado says:

I am a user! This will be adding to my stash although I usually only wear them overnight and the last day or two of my cycle. The other times, I use a menstrual cup. I switched because I was tired of throwing all that money, literally, in the trash every month. I was a tampon user anyways so a cup isn’t much different other than it’s a little messier! ;-)

  30. I have started a stash.. but waiting for my “friend” to return to start using them. I decided to switch because I wouldn’t use disposables (due to chemicals) on my baby.. so I figured, why am I using them then?

  31. Hannah Avery says:

When I have my period ( I am currently pregnant) I usually use a combination of Mama cloth and regualar disposable pads. I really need more large overnight pads, and basically a larger stash. One of my friends switched, and eventually, it just made sense, they were softer, and it would save me from having to buy pads, or so many pads. I have really liked them.

  32. natalia ellin says:

i would love to switch and win this for me:)

  33. I just had a baby, and I would like to make the switch once AF returns.

  34. I already use Mama cloth and the DivaCup. Love it, especially the DivaCup. I use Mama cloth when running because sometimes I have a SMALL amount of incontinence.

I have been using cloth pads for 3 months. I really need to increase my stash though! This is the perfect time for this giveaway!

  36. I haven’t ever tried them, but I like that their eco friendly and would be willing to try.

  37. I started after I began to cloth diaper. Only made sense because I didn’t like throwing away plastic diapers , I didn’t want to throw away plastic pads either.

They are so soft and easy to deal with that I wish I would have started long ago! And I have to wash them everyday because my stash isn’t big enough so would love to try out this brand and add to it.

  38. My reservations are the start up costs and throwing all that blood into the washer without it all just staining.

  39. I ordered Mama cloth last May (11), and got pregnant before my next cycle…I was able to use it post partum…I have recently won some other brands, but my cycle has not come back yet…my baby is 6 months so if my body follows suit with the older 3, I should be able to finally use it soon…not that I am complaining, and well if I were to get preg again, it would be an awesome reason to not get to try yet ;-)

  40. I switched to save money and I found that cloth didn’t irritate my skin like disposable pads do.

  41. I’ve never used mama cloth, but I’d like to try it. I’ve recently tried a Diva cup, though and have really liked it so far!

  42. I have never used Momma cloth, but I have been using a moon cup which I love, but I would like to get a stash of momma cloth as well!

  43. Julie Ghrist says:

I currently use a cup but i would like some mama cloth to go with it for light days and for postpartum care.

  44. I’m just switching and working on building my stash! I decided to switch after I started CDing my LO and saw how much more comfortable he was in cloth. I thought, well if he’s more comfortable, imagine how much more comfortable I could be!!!!

  45. I have been a MaMa cloth user for over a year now. My reasons for making the switch are the same as why I decided to cloth diaper my children, to avoid those nasty chemicals, help protect the environment, and save money. I wish I had started sooner!

I already have a stash, but would love to give these as a gift to my sister :-)

  46. Brandi Powell says:

I have just recently learned about mama cloth and am interested to try it! I have recently had a baby and so have not had a need for it yet, but will give it a try when the time comes.

  47. never tried it because I never knew about it, but since I have had my LO, my eyes have been opened to all sorts of green things!

  48. well, i don’t know that I’d actually switch to cloth pads because I use the Diva Cup and I LOVE it!! But, I’ve been thinking about trying the panty liners to go with it, so winning this giveaway would be perfect :)

  49. Well, I’ve never tried any of these, but I’ve always been curious. I try to be as green as possible and those disposables have me frustrated when I picture the amount of trash I’ll be responsible for over a lifetime.

  50. I would like to switch to cloth pads, but want to try it first before buy a big “stash”
    thanks for the giveaway =)
