Fluffy Friday: BALM baby Cloth Diaper Essential Kit

81 Flares 81 Flares ×

It's been awhile since we've had a real Fluffy Friday, but we're back!  Things have been crazy busy around SEBG and I'm just rolling to try to keep up!

Today we're talking Cloth Diaper Accessories – ok, so we've been talking Accessories a few times lately, right?  This time around, I've found a great, natural company that I can't wait to share with you!  I've been testing out their Cloth Diaper Essential Kit – complete with a Cloth Wipe Solution, Hand Sanitizer, and Diaper Balm and I'm going to share them all with you… then give you the chance to win the Kit yourself!  Awesome return to FF, right!?

I had seen the name BALM baby popping up around the blog and Facebook world for awhile, I mean, how catchy is that little logo… "that's the BALM!"!?  Since I can't quite find a Cloth Wipe Solution that I'm absolutely in love with, I really wanted to try theirs.  It's called "Juice Those Wipes" and comes in a 9oz bottle.  It's a concentrate, so you add 1-2 tsp to water and the bottle is enough to make 24-48 batches!  The smell is really lovely, but goes a long way for me, so I'm actually just putting about 1/2 tsp and really like that solution for us.  They tell you exactly what's in the solution {no hidden agenda here} and it's full herbal infused oils and essential oils to help keep your baby's bum fresh and clean as well!

Here's the super easy process…

I used to spray my wipes as I was ready to use, but I finally took the plunge at trying to wet them beforehand and I'll never go back to spraying.  Grabbing an already damp wipe is so much easier and faster for me and I use them in a couple of days so I never have to worry about them getting moldy.

The second product in the Cloth Diaper Essential Kit – the Hand Sanitizer, is a great addition to the diaper bag and I've actually used it at home too.  When you have a young baby that you can't just let walk away from a diaper change so you can wash your hands, the Hand Sanitizer is an awesome addition to your changing table.  More importantly, when you're in a public restroom and you've just changed a diaper, how in the world are you supposed to wash your hands while holding a baby?!  BALM baby Sanitize Those Hands to the rescue!

Lastly, let's talk about the BALM baby diaper balm.  This stuff is GOOD and turns out, not just for diaper regions.  They recommend the balm for cracked feet, sunburns, dry lips, diaper rash, razor burn, eczema, bug bites, newborn’s peeling skin, itchy cradle cap, sores from drippy nose, postpartum owies, scrapes, cuts, bruises, minor rashes, hemorrhoids, dry hands, stinky armpits, burns and all that other funky stuff.  Luckily Moreaya really hasn't ever dealt with diaper rash {so hoping this continues}, so I can't say much about that area, but I've been using the BALM for other things.  Both girls have small patches of dermatitis that show up and this stuff is great for that – I'll put it on them at night and by the morning, the patches are gone.  They do return after a few days, but another small application and they're gone for a few more.  I've also been trying it on the rough patches on my feet and I can really see a small difference.  I'm hoping that a bit of scrubbing in the sand this week, coupled with the BALM, will give me a cheap pedicure!

Buy It:  You can purchase all 3 of these products individually or in the Cloth Diaper Essential Kit, which retails for $29.50, on the THincSkin Website.
