When I started to really get into cloth diapering, I kept reading about the dangers of using fabric softeners and dryer sheets with CDs. It seemed that the alternative that most
recommended were wool dryer balls. I bought a few brands and they worked pretty well. When I tried LooHoo Wool Dryer Balls {formerly known as Wooly Rounds} – I knew I had found my favorite of all the brands I'd seen and tried.
I reviewed the Wooly Rounds Dryer Balls a year ago {wow, didn't realize it had been that long ago} and am still just as impressed with their quality as I was then! I used the 6 dryer balls that I received for a couple of months before I wrote my review and I was astounded at how well they held their shape, didn't develop "fuzzies" like the other brands, and didn't show a hint of un-raveling.
Would you believe that they still look exactly the same after a year?!
Well, they do. And they never come out of my dryer… well, unless they hitch a ride in a sheet every now and then. These dryer balls have been used at least every other day for an entire year and are still in practically the same shape they were when I received them.
That's a good product.
I would guess that if you've been around the green or cloth diaper scene in the last year, you've probably come across the Wooly Rounds brand before. I love my set of dryer balls too! My husband thought that it was a weird idea at first…but when I wrote down the cost versus the cost of drying our clothes…they quickly paid for themselves

I just started using wool dryer balls and love them! They work great and I love that I don't have the buildup of softeners and dryer sheets in my dryer and on my clothes!
