I've got another wonderful Prize Package full of cloth diapers for you all!  This one is for a fun event called "Mother's Day Cloth Diaper Hop Giveaway"!  The giveaways will go live on Monday, May 1st and run until Saturday night, the 12th… with the Winner being notified on Mother's Day!  There are over 90 blogs participating and all have at least a $25 Cloth Prize, but a lot have prize packs worth over $100… including So Easy Being Green! The first fabulous Sponsor in my Prize Pack is Babee Greens!  These diapers and this wonderful company are one of my absolute favorites that I've ever worked with, and some of my favorite fitteds!

Our line of certified organic cloth baby diapers and baby products was developed out of a desire to provide an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional chemically grown cloth and plastic disposable diapers. Created in the Blue Ridge Mountains nearly ten years ago, Babee Greens, formerly Baby Greens Diaper Company, began as a small business with one big goal of nurturing babies and the environment. Now owned and operated exclusively by mothers, Babee Greens has continued to expand its sustainable and biodegradable product selection, with all of its products made in the USA. The diapers and related diaper products are manufactured in Asheville, N.C.

I've had the pleasure of reviewing {and then buying 3 more} of their hemp and organic cotton blend diaper and their wool cover {and buying another!} in the past.  This time around, I get to see what their organic cotton diaper is all about!

Growing Greens is our original one size diaper, fitting most babies 5-35 lbs. The two part diaper system is constructed entirely from the softest fleece knit, 100% unbleached cotton thread and natural rubber elastic. Our unique non-PVC, hypoallergenic snap system offers wide adjustment for thigh and back allowing a custom fit. The functionality of the two part snap in design creates a trim, multi-fit diaper that enables a thorough cleanse and quick drying time.

Babee Greens Fitted Cloth Diaper

I absolutely love our organic cotton and hemp blend and it really absorbs a lot, as I mainly use them for overnight paired with a wool cover.  I was pleasantly surprised that this diaper seems just as absorbent, but softer – a big plus, especially with a little baby! The design of this fitted is unique in that they recommend using only the contour insert for small babies, 5-10 lbs.  Then, you can use only the diaper, without the snap-in insert, for smaller babies, 10-18 lbs.   Once you have a larger baby, or for overnight purposes, you'll want to use both the insert and the diaper.  I also add in an extra doubler for overnight cloth diapering.  The rise has 2 sets of snaps and for the smaller setting, you simply fold down the diaper as I've done on Moreaya!  If I had to choose between what I liked best between the hemp/cotton blend and the organic cotton cloth diaper from Babee Greens, well, I would be quite in trouble.  Although I love, love, love the way the legs have a tiny bit of a frill around them!  ;)

Buy It:  You can purchase a Babee Greens Organic Fitted Diaper on their website for $19.95.

I have two in diapers. We started CDing 3 months ago. We are mostly using flats and prefolds and just haven’t tried any fitteds yet. They are a little further out of our price range.

  2. Michelle Ferguson says:

I haven’t tried them because I don’t usually use fitted diapers.

I am buying cloth diapers for my daughter who is expecting in August. Made a promise to buy the diapers and do the laundry if she would use cloth. We are now trying to figure out which diapers are best. Would love to try these.

  9. Danialle Meyers says:

I haven’t tried them because my first baby is still in my belly :)

  10. I haven’t tried Babee Greens, but I would like to. It would be neat to try a OS fitted. The fitted diapers that we have are either too small or too big for my little guy. He’s outgrown his Kissaluv size zeros, and our medium Thirsties fab fitteds are too big.

  11. Melissa Mailly says:

I would love to try these! I really like fitted diapers the best – I’d never heard of these before, that’s why I haven’t tried them before. =]

  12. jennifer laur says:

  22. Dandi D says:

    I haven’t tried them yet. I think I should!

  23. Nikole H. says:

While I have heard of them, I have not tried them yet. The biggest reason being they weren’t available where I was shopping when I had the need for a product like theirs. But I do like how small they go for a OS, I need more diapers like that now that I have a newborn on the way.

  24. Jessica says:

I haven’t heard of them before, but I would love to try one. I love that their one size diaper is actually one size, and they addressed the bulkiness issue while developing it. My baby girl is 11 weeks old and just started fitting her “one size” diapers. I could have got them to fit around her waist and thighs at about a week old, but all the extra bulk would have made it impossible to put newborn clothes on!

  25. Tried them and love it! The insert can double as a newborn contour diaper, which is awesome. The hemp is very absorbent and the customer service at the company is great!

  26. Megan Spiva lloyd says:

I haven’t heard of them but would love to try!

  30. Amanda Alvarado says:

I have one but haven’t gotten to use it yet :-( since we are STILL TTC (going on 3 years now) I love how soft they are!

  31. Bridgett zaidi says:

I haven’t tried any fitteds but I want to. Love prefolds but not the folding

  45. I haven’t tried them- hadn’t heard of them before! We love fitteds and covers for nighttime though, so I’d love to try them.

  49. i haven’t tried them .. I actually never heard of them until reading this post. Sounds like it would work great though as I tend to double up some sort of hemp and cotton for overnight diapers.

  50. Ana Davidson says:

I would love to try them but the price is a bit high for us. We love fitted diapers for nighttime but we only have 3. :( nothing else has worked for us for nighttime.
