I know I’m not alone in this… but something happens when you have children.聽 You lose all interest in buying yourself anything nice.聽 Right?聽 I mean, occasionally I’ll splurge and buy myself a new t-shirt {yes, t-shirt} but usually when I’m looking at all those lovely things for myself I think “Sophia could really use a new play dress”!聽 It’s not her fault… I just would rather spend it on the girls rather than myself.
Which is why when Yala contacted me, I immediately thought of reviewing something from their Children’s Line.聽 But when they said they wanted ME to review something for myself, well, I had no clue what to choose!聽 It was so exciting!
I’m in the midst of trying to tone up and lose some unwanted leftover baby weight {which I plan to blog about as soon as I can}, so I didn’t want to order something that hopefully wouldn’t fit me anymore in a month or two!聽 I decided to go with something that I never, ever buy myself.聽 I always end up going to bed in hubby’s old t-shirts!?聽 So, I took the chance to feel {and look} like a new woman in my Organic Cotton Alina Pajama Set!
Now, this isn’t me, but then again, did you expect me to show you a picture of myself in my PJ’s!?聽 I’m not in that good of shape yet!聽
I chose the Alina Pajama Set in Paradise {pinkish red} color.聽 I loved that the PJ’s were made of an organic cotton and the look of them was just adorable!
I love my new PJ’s and wear them straight out of the dryer… as often as they are clean!聽 They’re super soft and I love the empire tank as it makes me feel confident and not as self conscious as so many other feminine pajama sets.聽 I love it when I’m wearing them and Sophia actually knows they’re PJ’s… unlike her Daddy’s shirts and a pair of shorts!
And although I enjoyed this gift to myself, I am still definitely eye-ing these adorable dresses for the girls!
