Thirsties AIO Cloth Diaper Options

If you’re like me and want to be making cloth diapering easy, it doesn’t get any easier than all-in-one cloth diapers. Today I’m sharing a couple of my favorite Thirsties AIO cloth diaper options.

I’ve recently found a love for all-in-one cloth diapers. It happened when Sophia was still in diapers, about 3 months ago or so, you know when I was pregnant and just thinking about having two in cloth diapers at the same time!

I fell in love with the trimness and the ease of no stuffing! Most of the AIOs that we have dry relatively quickly on the drying rack, even inside the house, so that’s not as big of a problem as it used to be because some that I had tried when Sophia was a baby took forever to dry.

I’ve always had a love for Thirsties diapers and love that they have AIO options too! While this review focuses on the 2 size  Thirsties AIO version, the Duo All in One, they also offer a one size version of an all in one diaper called the One Size All in One.

In fact, their covers were some of the first diapers to be on Sophia when she was an infant and to this day I still recommend the Thirsties Duo Wrap when someone wants to know my favorite PUL diaper cover. So, when I heard about their new Thirsties AIO, oh yeah, I was ready to try it!

We received this beauty… no, not the lovely lady, but the Thirsties Duo AIO in the Alice Brights print, Size 1. I also chose a Snaps closure, even though I normally prefer aplix. Sometimes you just gotta try something new, right? The snaps on this diaper are good quality, spaced well, and have only 1 row, so they’re pretty simple to operate.

The inside soaker of this Thirsties AIO is sewn in on the sides, but open at the top and bottom. If it was a pocket diaper, we would call this a sleeve.

That’s the great thing about this AIO because you can actually add more absorbency, if needed, and it’s super easy to do with the top and the bottom being open. This is also a great design for washing – the extra inserts you stuff with will come out on their own in the washer.

This design also helps the diaper dry faster. Don’t be fooled by the extra stuffing options, though. It’s super trim but still holds quite a bit as Moreaya can easily wear this diaper for 3 hours without leaks.

As I said, Moreaya is wearing the Size 1, which fits 6-18lbs [0-9 months]. In the past, I’ve found that the Size 1 doesn’t quite last to 18 pounds, or it didn’t for Sophia, so definitely plan on a Size 2 if your babe is already over 15 pounds or so, I think.

Moreaya is on the middle setting. I used the smallest setting a couple of times, but like the fit much better with a bit of a higher rise.

Honestly, the Duo AIO is my favorite Thirsties product yet. It’s super easy to use, trim, and would be a fabulous addition to any stash! And when you pair it with a Thirsties hemp insert, it’s basically leak-proof!
