Fluffy Friday: Am I really ready!?

Am I really ready for this? That's the question I keep asking myself and unbelievably the answer is "YES"! I am so ready to have 2 in cloth... even if it just lasts for a couple of weeks. {We aren't actively trying to get Sophia to be completely potty trained, but she's using her potty pretty much all of the time when we're home. We plan to get serious about it when I'm recovered from surgery and our days return to a bit more of a "normal" status after Moreaya is a few weeks old.} I think I have my diapers and changing table set up in the best way for diapering two. I think I have enough diapers. I know I have enough detergent. I even have notes taped to the changing table and washer with instructions on how to wash... just in case I need a bit of help with laundry the first few days. Fluffy Friday: Taking Care of your Wool

I can't believe I managed to keep quiet for almost the entire week! While I've been enjoying some much needed rest and special quiet time with Sophia, I'll admit I've been working super hard at getting some things lined up for "New Year, New Babies, New Mommies 2"! I'm preparing for Miss Moreaya's arrival by packing my Hospital Bag, laying out Sophia's clothes for the few days I'll be in the hospital, and packing plenty of toys/snacks for her to have while she's visiting me and Moreaya at the hospital. But, between all of that, I've been thinking fluff! Well, I think fluff quite a few times a day {every diaper change} and a few times a week {when I wash them}, but today I was thinking woolie fluff! It’s gonna get quiet…

For the next 2 weeks or so, it's gonna be a little quiet-er around the blog. Why? Because I've absolutely blogged my tail off in November and the beginning of this month, I'm 9 months pregnant, and as if that's not enough... Potty Training and Cloth Diapers

I had a great post in my mind for today's Fluffy Friday... all about Wool and some great new products I've found, but I procrastinated and didn't get the post written, sooooo you get me and my thoughts for just a few moments! If you've been reading the past few days, on Facebook or the blog, you'll know that we've been attempting Potty Training. I wasn't quite so "gung-ho" about the timing Sophia chose to start really trying to use the potty all of the time. Not only is it the Holidays and we're busy running around, shopping and visiting family, I'm 37 weeks pregnant and her world is getting ready to be turned upside down, I'm sure. So, we took the "training" pretty light and easy and she was actually quite successful for those first few days. Sophia has taken over my iPhone {& a QUICK giveaway!}

Lately Sophia has really become interested in my iPhone. I have a few story apps on it for her and she loves to listen to them, especially in the car. When I had the chance to review a few more from Oceanhouse Media, I jumped at the chance. Elmer and Rose is a cute little story app about elephants and being unique and is the 3rd in the Elmer the Patchwork Elephant series! As Elmer and Wilbur help Rose to return back to their herd, they get a lesson in what it's really like being unique and fitting in. This is a cute story that would appeal to a little bit older audience than Sophia, I think.
