Fluffy Friday: Glow Bug Cloth Diapers

It’s FLUFFY FRIDAY!  This just happens to be my favorite day of the week… how about yours!?

Today’s Fluffy Friday is going to focus on a “newer-ish” brand of cloth diapers that you may or may not have heard of yet, Glow Bug Cloth Diapers!  They’ve been making their way around the blog-o-sphere and I’ve been reading nothing but great reviews about these diapers… and you’re about to read one too!

First, let’s start off with a couple of cute pictures to show you the diaper…

We were sent one of Glow Bug’s Logo Diapers to review.  I’ll be honest, it’s not my favorite print of theirs… as they have a TON of cuter ones, but I have to say that Sophia loves when I put this diaper on her!  She loves the print and even Rob has made a couple of comments about the cute print!

Now, it’s hard to see from the picture, but let’s get to the sizing of this diaper.  This is a one-size cloth diaper that has snaps in the front, l ike most OS diapers do.  Sophia is at the 3rd setting, so she has 1 more setting that she can grow into… completely un-snapped.  Also, there are a ton of waist snaps, not too many, but nicely placed so that she has plenty of room to grow this way too.  I only leave 1 column of snaps un-snapped on both sides, so this is a diaper that will definitely fit on a larger child, for sure!

Now, my favorite things about this diaper:

1. The material!  The PUL is super soft, yes, the PUL on the outside of the diaper AND the inside, made of a SlimDry fabric is so soft and stretchy and really does stay very dry when it’s on her.
2. Sleeve opening, meaning… you can stuff from the back or the front, but both are covered nicely so the inserts {these diapers come with 2 microfiber inserts} don’t stick out either side.  The inserts can also snap into place, if you have an extra wiggly baby!

The only drawback about Glow Bug Cloth Diapers is they are sold in large packages… 12 diapers at a time.  This can be a drawback for people like me who like to try different diapers, but I do know there are those of you out there that just want a good diaper, at a great price, and Glow Bug Cloth Diapers are for you.  They are extremely affordable diapers that are surprising great quality.  I say surprisingly only because of the price.  I have really tested this diaper and it has been washed at least 15 times or more.  It still looks brand new, inside and out.
