Greenie Beanie Bottoms carries a vast array of re-usable cloth diapers, and one of those brands that you may have heard of, but never tried yourself {if you’re like me}, is Drybees. GBB sent me a Drybees AIO to test on Sophia.
Honestly, AIO’s are really nice and super easy to use, but they aren’t the first diapers that I reach for. Usually they take longer to dry than Pocket Diapers and they aren’t absorbent enough for us, especially ones that don’t have an opening so you can stuff more inserts into. This AIO is one of those… it’s simply got a sewn in soaker and there’s no way to add extra absorbency, other than laying a hemp insert on top of the diaper itself {which is a viable option, though.}
So, do I like this diaper? Actually, yes. It’s so super trim… probably the trimmest in our stash. Of course, that’s thanks to the super thin microfiber insert. But, it actually holds quite a bit too. I was very surprised and have really tested the limits of this diaper to truly get a good feel for it. I’ve been able to leave it on Sophia for 2 1/2 – 3 hours, just like I do a pocket diaper that’s double stuffed!?
The aplix on the diaper seems very durable and sticks to the laundry tabs really good. I don’t have many worries about the diaper lasting, because it seems extremely well made… made right here in the USA! Also, to address the drying issue… this diaper line dries {out of my Front Loader} in just an hour or 2. It’s pretty amazing! Lastly, Sophia is in the size Medium, which is said to fit from 14-22 lbs. Soph is a skinny 23 lbs and the diaper fits her really well. She still has plenty of room to grow, width wise and I really like the rise on this diaper. I have no doubts that she’ll be able to wear it for a few more months, if not more!
Although AIO’s still aren’t the first Ireach for, they are the first that hubby reaches for and the first ones to go into the diaper bag when Sophia is headed to Grandma’s… especially this diaper, since it has the Aplix closure. It’s nice to get this diaper back in the wetbag and not have to take out dirty inserts or do anything, other than dump it in the pail or washer!
Greenie Beanie Bottoms wants to give one lucky So Easy Being Green reader a Drybees AIO of their own {choice of in-stock color and size}! This prize will be included in the Go Green: Baby Prize Package!
