Have I mentioned that I love carrying Sophia?  I think I have, but I want to make sure you understand how much this little lady enjoys being in her Mama and Daddy’s arms.  We’ve actually began to just leave the stroller at home and always have a carrier with us.

Boba Baby Carrier were nice enough to send a beautiful Organic Carrier in Chestnut.  Since I’ve already reviewed the ERGObaby carrier, I would like to focus this review on the differences between the two.  First things first, I love the Boba.  I love my ERGO.  I actually don’t prefer one carrier over the other, but we use them both on a regular basis.  Actually, that’s what is great about having two carriers now.  We leave one in the car, so it’s always handy, and the other is ready to go around the house!

• The Boba is made of a super soft organic material.  The brown looks deliciously creamy in person!
• The Boba seems trimmer than the ERGO.  It feels shorter to me in length and Sophia seems to fit a little more snugly, but not too tight.  For that reason, I wear her on my back more with the Boba because she sometimes doesn’t like the “super closeness” when she’s facing me.  She’s an active babe that likes to look around!
• The Boba doesn’t have a zippered pouch.  This makes the carrier more streamline and trim, but I miss the pocket when we’re in public.
• The Boba has removable foot straps.
• Lastly, I find the Boba easier to put on by myself.  When I’m front carrying, it’s a bit difficult for me to reach the top, back strap to buckle between my shoulers, in the ERGO.  The Boba is much easier for me to reach.  I’m still not comfortable trying to put Sophia in the back carry position by myself, but I’m sure that will come with more time and use.

Why WE Love Our Boba Organic Carrier:  I seriously love this carrier.  I truly can’t choose a favorite, between it and the ERGO, because I like them both for different reasons.  The Boba is the carrier that I reach for when we’re going walking for a long period of time.  The shoulder straps are super comfy and the carrier distributes Sophia’s weight so well.  Robert, who thought the carrier hype that I had was all “just hype” has now taken to the Boba and has wanted to carry Sophia in public… alot lately.  When we get ready to go in a store, he’ll say, “I’ll carry her.”  I really think there’s nothing more beautiful than seeing her bouncing along on her Daddy’s back.
