Enter the wonderful family behind Natural Family Supplies. Nicole was an absolute joy to work with and I feel it’s a privilege to introduce her and her family’s online store to all of you!
They truly have stock of the Who’s Who in Natural Parenting: EcoNuts, BottomBumpers, Charlie’s, Skoy Cloth, Boba Carriers, Moby Wraps, and Sustainablebabyish. Ahhh… Sustainablebabyish. The cloth diaper brand that I’ve always drooled over and never owned… until now. Let me tell you about these longies!
“sustainablebabyish longies are made from öko-tex certified wool yarns and are double-layer knit, making them breathable, soft, and comfortable–perfect for cloth diapered children from newborns to toddlers.”
These longies are luxurious. They are oh-so-soft, thick {but not too thick}, and do their job… keep the wetness on the inside! As you can see, Sophia has the longies in Mocha, size Medium. They fit her great around the waist and she still has some length to grow in.
Now, let’s discuss the hesitation of price issues with wool. I understand the sticker shock, but there are a few things you have to remember/consider when you’re purchasing wool. First, the better/softer/more natural the wool, the more expensive it will be. Second, you always have to keep in mind that your wool can be used over and over without washing every single time. I believe this will definitely prolong the life of your wool longies much more than PUL covers. Finally, you don’t have to own quite as many woolies {unless you become a Wool addict… which I’m on my way too!}. Try out a few different kinds, sell the ones that aren’t your favorites {there is a definite Wool Re-Buying Market}. Remember, your child can wear them for 3-4 weeks without being washed, so you don’t have to have a ton. If you want to learn even more about Wool and “Getting Over the Sticker Shock“, check out this great, informative post from A Year With Mom and Dad.
Why I Love Our Sustainablebabyish Longies: They are the softest pants ever. I love the fact that I have a pair of pants that serves two purposes: {1} They keep Sophie’s little legs warm at night on these cold evenings we’ve been having and {2} They keep Sophie’s bed dry all night! Want to know what I dislike about them? The fact that they don’t make adult sizes. Seriously, I would be all over these!
Buy It: You’re going to love these longies and you should definitely have a pair in your Wool Stash. You can buy them for $64.00 from Natural Family Supplies.
Win It: One super lucky So Easy Being Green reader is going to win their very own pair of Sustainablebabyish Longies, courtesy of the fine folks at Natural Family Supplies. You choose the size, they choose the color! What are you waiting for?! Enter away!!!!

Thanks for the chance.
I'm totally with you on the adult sizes. I'd live in them! I won a pair from Year with Mom and Dad's wool event. And they are perfect! And they double as a swiffer.
Great giveaway Lindsey!
