Can you believe that there is only 1 day left in the Out Like a Lamb event? I cannot. I have done so much preparation for this event (gathered the best sponsors ever?!) and am a bit sad to see it go. But… It’s not over yet! Today, I’m bringing you the last fitted diaper giveaway courtesy of Bootyful Baby Boutique!

First, I want to introduce you to Ashley, the WAHM behind BBB.

Don’t you just love that initiative? Her story (of how she came to cloth diapers and was met with hesitation from everyone else) is very similar to mine. Once my husband and close relatives realized that I was serious about using only cloth, they became supportive! When I decided to try Wool, I was met with the same hesitation again. Why? Because change is hard! Rob (the hubs) felt that things were going fine with the diapers we had, but I knew it was only a matter of time before the BG’s with a hemp insert wouldn’t work for nighttime. I was slow to warm up to the idea of wool, but he was even more so. Since beginning this event, I am proud to say that he (along with my Mom who was very skeptical of the wool covers) have come around and Rob actually complimented our Three Happy Trees wool soaker the other day by saying, “I like your little brown thing, Sophia.” Cut him some slack… I was tickled with that response!

So, what does this have to do with my Bootyful Baby Boutique fitted? Everything. He may have been a bit slow to jump on the wool bandwagon, but the fitteds? He loved them (and so do Soph and I!). How can you deny the cuteness of the prints, such as the cute owls that we were sent!?!

I chose a size Medium Long, based on BBB’s sizing chart. When I received it in the mail, I was a bit nervous. It looked too small. I prepped the diaper and anxiously tried it on Sophia, dreading having to tell Ashley that it just wouldn’t work… but it fit her perfectly!

I suppose it’s the strong leg elastic that makes the diaper look smaller. Even with the strong elastic, there are no red marks left on her chubby thighs!

What I Love about Bootyful Baby Boutique’s Fitted: I love this diaper for daytime use. The cotton fabric gets a bit more damp than I like for nighttime, but it’s just perfect to let her crawl around in during play time. How cute is the inside of this diaper too? I love the matching hemp insert that snaps in!
